Back in February 2018 Arutz Sheva – or Israeli Channel 7 – published an opinion piece entitled ‘The West sleeps peacefully because of Israel’ by Italian journalist and full-time Colonel Blimp impersonator Giulio Meotti – who is pleased to posture as some sort of authority on both Middle Eastern affairs and Islam in general – about how Israel is saving Europe and North American from the hordes of Islam. (1) So in keeping with the spirit of Socratic dialogue between anti-Semite and philo-Semite I thought I’d reply in kind.
Meotti begins by writing that:
‘While Turkish President Erdogan and Pope Francis were in Rome complimenting each other on Jerusalem and the European Union was rolling out red carpets to Mahmoud Abbas, Israel was protecting the West.’
One wonders what Israel is doing to ‘protect the West’ given that Western armies – with considerable experience of the realities and horrors of combat – don’t have to force their soldiers to wear nappies, because for some reason non-jews don’t have the same habit of wetting themselves when something akin to military resistance occurs.
‘This small state has hitherto prevented Iran from manufacturing the atomic bomb,’
While stealing atomic secrets from the United States and the West so that they could produce the 150-200 atomic weapons that Israel has today at the famous Dimona facility, which Israel has never formally admitted to owning and thus is not bound by any nuclear non-proliferation or usage treaty.
Oh and did I mention Israel’s notorious threat to launch nuclear weapons to on every single country in Western Europe if it was allowed to a lose a war aka the infamous ‘Samson Option’ exposed by jewish journalist Seymour Hersh?
So who is the rogue state? Iran or is it actually Israel?

By unilaterally campaigning bombing Iraq in 1981 – which was incidentally fighting Israel’s supposed arch-enemy Iran at the time and thus undermining Iraq’s US-backed war against the Islamic Republic – and then getting upset and loudly shrieking about Saddam financing suicide bombings and launching scud missiles against Israel in retaliation.
But hey Giulio let’s forget the history and just pretend that Israel is opposed to Iran for ‘moral reasons’ and ‘is the victim’ rather than because Israel financed and helped create the Shah’s feared secret police – the SAVAK – which tortured and murdered thousands if not tens of thousands of Iranians as well as stealing billions from Iran in the 1970s as has been demonstrated by Israeli investigative journalist Ronen Bergman.
‘and Bashar el Assad thanks to two solitary bombings’
So Israel undermines its secular Arab neighbours that form major bulwarks against the spread of Islamism?
Good to know.
‘it guards the security of Jordan that without Israel would collapse today like a cooked pear’
Err… how?
The United States is the main provider of aid to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan – whose Royal Family incidentally have their own strong connections to jews – (2) and all that would happen to Jordan should Israel not exist or be as allegedly ‘proactive’ is that Jordan would have to garrison its western border more extensively. Even though – as reading the work of say Yehezkel Dror would have told Meotti – Israel plans to intervene militarily against Jordan should it go against its regional objectives or become too pro-Palestinian. (3)
So one wonders how Jordan would collapse ‘like a cooked pear’ without Israel… or is that just one of Meotti’s fantasies?
‘it has foiled attacks by ISIS on European civilian flights and we now discover that Egypt’s el Sisi has recently asked Israel to bomb ISIS’ posts in Sinai.’
As well as funding and arming Islamic State in addition to treating their wounded, (4) while also started the whole Syrian Civil War that in turn created Islamic State as former Israeli Ambassador to the United States Itamar Rabinovich boasted. (5)
Oh and did I mention that Israel likes to inexplicably bomb Islamic State’s enemies in Syria – including secular Syrian forces – constantly.
Some ‘enemy of Islamic State’ Israel is.
‘Israel today is the fireman of the Middle East’
Correction:
‘Israel is the Arsonist of the Middle East’.
‘Imagine the region, from time to time, without Israel as the anti-Semites of the whole world dream of it. A Middle East of beheaders facing the Mediterranean,’
Isn’t that what it is anyway according to you? How does Israel’s presence make that fact any different?
‘a Middle East of planes full of Westerners flying from Sharm el Sheikh and sinking in the Red Sea’
You mean that the Egyptian, European and US security services aren’t capable of stopping Islamists blowing up airliners, while the only ones who can are Israel’s Mossad and Shin Bet? As well as that airlines would be so brainless as to keep flying their planes and passengers along the same routes if they are routinely getting downed by Islamists.
‘a Middle East of a race to atomic weapons by dictatorships of all kinds’
You mean like those 150-200 atomic weapons Israel owns, but refuses to acknowledge it has and therefore refuses to be bound by any diplomatic convention or treaty regarding their use, while having a track record and a known policy of threatening to unleash their entire nuclear payload onto Western Europe if it is ever allowed to lose a war that it likely started in the first place.
Sound like the type of country anyone would want to willingly back?
‘a Middle East of even more millions of refugees going to Europe. Tonight we will sleep more peacefully thanks to Israel.’
Well other than the heavily jewish effort to get Middle Eastern (aka ‘Syrian’) ‘refugees’ into Europe (6) and the fact that Israel accepted next to none of these same ‘refugees’. (7)

Ah so the US taxpayers are funding this effort to protect Israel not the Israeli taxpayers then?
It is also useful to know that the expendable goyim from the US military are having to put their lives on the line because jews are just too important to have to ruin their manicures – or their nappies for that matter – doing some actual… you know… work.
Incidentally it is Avigdor Lieberman not Avigdor Liberman, but details just mere details…
