Jewish Invention Myths: The Digital Printing Press

Another of Suzanne Downing’s ‘jewish invention’ claims is that jews invented the digital printing press the successor to traditional and computerized type setting. She claims that this was first invented by an Israeli jew named Ben Zion ‘Benny’ Landa in 1993 writing that:

‘Digital printing press – 1993: Revolutionary printing press invented by Benny Landa, founder of Indigo Digital Press’ (1)

This is also regurgitated by ‘Journalism.University’ who wrongly claim that:

‘And in 1993, Benny Landa developed the digital printing press, which revolutionised commercial printing by making short print runs affordable and enabling variable data printing.’ (2)

Both Michael Dillon (3) and Ann O’Brien (4) are better; dating the digital printing press and digital printing to around 1990 – three years before Landa is claimed to have ‘invented’ it – but don’t state who invented it.

The truth is that digital printing and the digital printing press was invented by an American computer programmer named David Coons in the late 1980s (5) which then inspired one of his early clients named Graham Nash – a musician by profession – to launch the digital printing company ‘Nash Editions’ between 1989 and 1991 to print material digitally and which was a very successful commercially. (6)

Thus, we can see that all Landa did was take an existing non-jewish invention (by Coons) and the digital printing business model (pioneered by Nash) several years after they had invented and apparently claimed their work as his own and presented himself as the ‘father of digital printing’ (7) which – as we have seen – is a complete and utter bald-faced lie.
